Maca Leaf
I have started to grow maca in Australia and would like to hear from anyone else who has attempted to grow it. Did yours flower, were you able to get viable seed? How did you protect it from the summer heat? How did you prepare and eat the root? The smaller roots are now about the size of peas and the larger ones about the size of ping-pong balls. As I am not ready to harvest yet I have started to eat some of the leaves while the plants grow. They taste a little peppery. I have noticed some improvement of my overall mental state. Does anyone else have any experience in eating the fresh leaf?
