The leaves are sessile, opposite and their veins have many schizogen secreting glands that can be observed under counter-light. Along the rims of the leaves, some small dark glandular dots can be observed. The inflorescences are small terminal cymes. The flower petals are yellow and they also have secreting glands on their ridges, which can be observed as small dark spots. The fruits are ovoid capsules.
